Chinese Spareribs

This was a nice treat, we served it with with Chicken and Broccoli and Plain Lo Mein, we will post the Chicken recipe tomorrow.

hoisin sauce 4 tablespoons

ketchup 1 tablespoon

grenadine 2 oz.

soy sauce 1 tablespoon

fresh chopped garlic 1 teaspoon

white vinegar 1 teaspoon

lemon juice 1 teaspoon

Chinese five-spice powder 1 /2 teaspoon

St. Louis Ribs 1 rack cut in half

Make the marinate and pour in a glass baking dish. Place ribs in sauce on both sides and let marinate for 1 hour. Place them on a wire rack in a baking pan. Set oven to 350 degrees. Pour 1 cup of water under the wire rack. Make sure water is not touching the rack. Place Ribs on rack for 1 hour. Continue to brush them and turn them over every 15 minutes with left over sauce. Broil for 5 minutes or to brown after the hour is over. Enjoy, Jason!
