Homemade Ravioli Dough

This is a very simple recipe made with all purpose flour. No machine since I do not own one, only a rolling pin.


all purpose flour 1.5 cups

2-3 eggs

salt 1/4 teaspoon

room temperature water 2-3 teaspoons

In a food processor add flour, 2 eggs, and salt. Process until dough starts to form. Add water and additional egg if dough is to dry. Dust a cooking surface with flour and kneed your dough into a ball for 1 to 2 minutes. Cover dough with plastic wrap for 30 minutes. Now cut your dough into 2 equal parts. Using a rolling pin roll dough out into 2 equal sections, your top and bottom.

Use a filling of your desire and add to the bottom pasta sheet. We used a Beef and Cheese mixture.

Place your cover over bottom and with a pizza or pasta cutter, cut into 12 large raviolis. I use a fork around the ravioli to seal well. Boil until tender and serve with your favorite sauce. Enjoy, Jason!
