Pictures of our first Fresh Mozzarella and Pizza Demonstrations 4/8/2016

DSCF1014

Last evening, the Casaculinarian.com team (friends and family) put together a mobile Pizza Demonstration. We showed how to make the dough from home and homemade fresh mozzarella cheese. Live!

This event could not of happened without the entire team.

My son Matt stepped up big time and was my Sous Chef. He said that I surprised him with what I can do, and he certainly surprised me. He was backing up all my product, prepping in the kitchen, and even making Pizza at the end of the night… All this while his friends were outside playing… The night does not happen without his help… Thanks Matt. Lots of thanks to the rest of the team as well.

This event can be for Birthday Party’s, Jewelry Party’s, Avon Party’s, Mary Kay Party’s, Pampered Chef Party’s or Handbag Party’s… Bring your event to a whole new level.

Here’s some pix of the night, and we will let you know when our next event is… Thanks, Jason

Limonchello
Limonchello

Happy Birthday to my wonderful Mother… I love her so much and know my Dad up above is toasting some Limonchello to her…

She taught me to start cooking in 6th grade. She was working and would go over the recipe with me the night before. It wasn’t long till I was charging my friends for a Breakfast Menu in the Summer when we were off from school…

Love you Mom,

Jason

Homemade Play-do from your own Kitchen

playdo

My children love this, I think it is better than the store bought kind. It whips up in minutes and it is a relaxing activity for your child to do! It also buys me some time to prep dinner, although I have to admit I enjoy playing too:)

1 cup water

1 cup white flour

1/2 cup salt

2 tablespoon cream of tarter

1 tablespoon oil

food coloring

Put all ingredients except for the food coloring in a small pan. Mix well. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly 4- minutes. The dough will form into a clump. Remove from pan (will be hot do not give to your child yet) knead the dough gently for 2 minutes…add the food coloring and knead for an additional 3 minutes. Form into a ball. Rest for ten minutes and it is ready for your child to play.   If desired you can add cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice 1/4 teaspoon to dry ingredients for a nice scent or in the end you can add a few drops of your favorite essential oil, children tend to like lavender, orange or peppermint. This stores well in a Ziploc bag or a covered plastic container. Happy Playing!

Cooking with my Lula Belle

fried chicken

Ok its Saturday Night and guess what, I’m cooking? My son Matt is skiing, Jodi took Jules to her first cheer competition of the year with her new team Rebels Elite and they took 1st place. Its me and my baby Lula to do the grocery shopping and cooking for them when they get home. So we need something fast and easy that can stay warm in the oven. No sides, they will just want a bite when they get home. So tonight its Country Fried Chicken. Yes its Fried- no alternative! So heres some pix’s of my Family and Lula Belle.
