wonton wrappers 1 package produce aisle
beef chop meat 80/20- 3/4 pound
garlic one clove minced
onion 1/4 of an onion minced
salt and pepper for taste
shredded mozzarella cheese 1/2 cup
ricotta cheese 2 tablespoons
bread crumbs 2 tablespoons
Italian seasoning 1/2 teaspoon
parsley 1/2 teaspoon
oregano 1/4 teaspoon
basil 1/2 teaspoon
grated parmesan cheese 2 tablespoons
egg 1 for wonton wrappers
In a saute pan brown off your beef on medium heat. Drain fat and add garlic and onions. Continue to stir and add basil, oregano, parsley, Italian seasonings, salt, and pepper. When Onions and garlic become transparent, take off the stove and let cool for 10 minutes. In a Kitchen Aide with the Paddle, add your seasoned beef, bread crumbs, ricotta cheese, and mozzarella cheese. Mix till meat mixture is blended. Examples below.
This recipe yielded 13-14 Large Meat Ravioli… Of course you can make any type of stuffing you would like…
Lay out half of your Wonton Wrappers on a clean cooking surface. Make egg wash with one egg. You will need a pastry brush. With the pastry brush coat each wrapper with egg wash. Add another wrapper to the top and egg wash the top as well… Example below.
Take a small Ice cream scoop and place a ball of meat in the middle of half the wrappers. The other half are for the top.
Cover each one with a wrapper egg side down. With a fork make a seal around the square to keep your Ravioli closed.
Cut your edges clean with a pizza cutter. Top Image of the page. Boil Ravioli for 6-9 minutes in salted water. Fresh pasta cooks fast do not over cook. Add a tablespoon of olive oil and mix after pasta has been drained so they do not stick. Top with Tomato Basil Sauce and serve with Baker Pippi’s Cheesy Garlic Biscuits. Both links below.
